This book really annoyed me. I hated the characters, except for Auntie Barbara who was big, loud and loveable. I wanted to shake the mother on more than one occasion and tell her to grow up, Kenny (the younger brother) was a wuss, the father was abusive and Jayni was just plain irritating. Very pleased to reach to end!! ( )

This was quite a good story, especially for children who might be going through similar things. ( )

This book was a great read, it had all the right mixtures of scariness, happiness etc. It was one of those books you can't put down! ( )
