Veronica Black (pseudonym of Maureen Peters), 1935 - Novelist Veronica Black, a.k.a. Elizabeth Law and Catherine Darby, was born in Caernarvon, North Wales on March 3, 1935. She received a BA at the University of North Wales. Veronica Black is a writer of historic romance novels and founded the Romantic Novelists Association.
