When the pirates came for the girl, they snatched the wrong one, so any protests made by the young woman were ignored. Not until the following mornings, when the pirate ship had long sailed from Charles Town, did the pirates discover their error. Now it became a matter of what to do with the girl, and it did not help the young woman's predicament that she'd been screaming all night to be returned to her family in Charles Town.
