Description

This book is about love. What it is and what it isn't. It is about you--and about everybody who has ever reached out to touch the heart of another. Among many other lessons of the heart, Leo Buscaglia reminds us: Love is open arms. If you close your arms about love you will find that you are left holding only yourself. From the Paperback edition.

This book changed my life. It encouraged me to hug people. It encouraged me to put myself out there. It was a fundamental shift in the way I lived my life. The information in this book is timeless and I'd encourage everyone to read it.
Basic, tends to repeat stories which is not great for such a short book. Seem like a lot of this basic knowledge. I was expecting a little more.
It is a book about intimate relationships. It was too intellectual for me. It did have some anecdotes.
This book was suggested to me by writer Peter Loel Boonshaft. It is a study in analogies that can even be applied to the classroom. It has helped my being in front of students and speaking.

Hug yourself with love today! Or, someone else.
I could never quite get in to grasping all of what he had to say... Not sure it "fits" for me.
irrefutable presence of love
