This series is why I keep looking for Shayne, even though I really dislike vampire romances - her westerns are excellent. Garrett's story is my favorite - I really like abused-woman-learning-to-trust-again stories. Jessi's is over the top for me (talk to each other, dammit!) and Wes slid out of the hole he dug for himself way too easily (plus the manipulation aspect, which I dislike).
