First book read from this author, and I will read others in the future. Her H/H were likeable and believable; her story entertaining, even if a bit improbable. Details galore, easy to bungle up or forget.

Maggie Scott’s day starts off relatively normal, but as the day goes on the bookstore owner finds she has forgotten the past month of her life. Then she gets accused of murder.
Jake Wise is an undercover agent, who will stop at nothing to find out what happened and who killed the man he thought of as a father figure.
When the two team up it becomes a dangerous hunt for the truth. Maggie learns that she has lighting fast knife throwing skills, and perhaps a month isn’t the only thing she has forgotten.
This book was excellent and oh-so-hard to put down
