101 Best Family Card Games

I only got one game out of it myself (Casino) which, it turns out, my husband doesn't like (he's an 'old dog' and looking for sums is 'a new trick' I guess)... maybe my adult sons will play it with me. But if my boys were still little, we definitely would have loved some of these. And the solitaire games are great when you've had enough screen time but still want something as casual as match-3.

I really like the organization by game 'family' - whist family, hearts family, authors family, etc. Learn the basic, then learn variants and those akin.

Mostly clearly written, but a few more pictures to show games in progress would have been helpful.

Rounded up because every family needs card games in their repertoire, if only for camping trips show more and power outages. I do have a stack of similar books to go through, but those aren't directed to families and so I'm confident this is the best that I know of if you're playing with young children. show less

This is awide-ranging and well-organized book of card games that are a lot of fun. There is something in it for everyone. Rules are clearly explained...and MUST HAVE for family vacation or any family or group of friends that like to play games.
