Description

On a future world that has become a barren wasteland, the supply of water is controlled by the greedy king. Sheriff Rao, the demon prince Beelzebub, and his assistant, Thief, have teamed up to find a long-lost lake, facing dragons, bandits, and the King's army along the way.

Diesen Manga habe ich vor fünf oder sechs Jahren gekauft, gelesen und ins Mangaregal gestellt, oft daran gedacht und einen der Helden der Geschichte zu meinem Avatar im Internet gemacht. Beim Wiederlesen gefällt mir die Geschichte immer noch außerordentlich gut.
Sandland, in dem Menschen, Dämonen und andere Rassen, die wenig Kontakt zueinander haben, leidet seit Jahrzehnten an Wassermangel. Eines Tages erscheint ein Mensch bei dem jungen Dämon Beelzebub und bittet ihn um Hilfe bei der Suche nach einer "Phantomquelle". Der hat gerade nicht Besseres zu tun und kommt mit einem Gefährten mit. Sie erleben auf ihrer Queste eine Menge Überraschungen, Kämpfe und beginnen einander zu vertrauen.

Akira Toriyama is a Manga artist and video game designer and writer, born in 1955, and based in Japan. He became popular in 1980 with his work Dr. Slump. From 1984-1995, his series Dragon Ball ran in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. It became popular in the U.S. published as Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z.
