Description

Bellagio, Inc. public relations genius Trina Roberts had been a bad, bad girl when she'd gone to bed with a recently jilted groom and wound up pregnant. She knew Walker Gordon wasn't looking for forever--at least not with her. So when he took a job overseas, she sort of neglected to tell him about the baby on the way. Well, now he's back...and he's just figured out the truth. Walker had been reeling from a very public breakup when Trina had offered solace he couldn't deny. He'd never show more expected the result would make him somebody's daddy! Trina claimed not to need anything from him, but he was determined that his child have a father; he just didn't know if it should be him. Because a father's shoes...well, those he wasn't sure he could fill. show less

This is the first story I've read by Ms. Banks. I liked it well enough to reach for other titles by her, when at the library or bookstore. This book has an engaging storyline and a couple of subplots, which keeps the pace moving nicely. I do feel that the H/H's sources of conflict were wrapped up a little too neatly, but really, this book has all the makings for a great beach read. It is entertaining.
rabck from dvg; easy read. Trina has a night of pity sex with consultant Walker, leaving her pregnant. She knows he doesn’t want kids, so when he goes overseas for 15 months, she doesn't tell him about Maddie. Until he comes back, Uncle Harry points out the family red hair and he does the math
"4 out of 5 stars!! The chemistry between Walker & Trina is palpable..."
