A reworking of 'Taming of the Shrew' in which a petulant bitter Englishwoman escapes her anxious London life for rural Ireland and becomes the reluctant pupil of an old Irishman. Gradually Kate learns what happiness is and how to embrace it, and as she learns so do we. Not just a story, but a manual in the art of living.
