Description

When her boss inexplicably sends her to handle a new account in the Florida Everglades, it may as well be another planet to city slicker Fiona Burkenhalter. But this is no ordinary business meeting: Fiona is to join her client on a rustic fishing expedition, accompanied by a guide with the larger-than-life name of Ace Montgomery.

I must have read this book 50 times during my teen years, and then forgot about it. Something reminded me about this gem of a read and I decided to see if it was as good as I remembered it being. Yup, it was! Is it an intellectual masterpiece? No. However if you have a few hours to kill and enjoy light comedy/steamy romance then this book is for you!
It is hate at first sight between Fiona and Ace but when someone is murdered then end up on the run together. There are a lot of unexpected twists and turns in the novel. An exciting book that will keep you wondering "whodunit?"
Loved this book. Two stranges meet and end up in the middle of a crime. Funny and a great mystery. An romance.

This book was in a grab bag that I bought at a used book store. I had never read Jude Deveraux, but I'm glad I did.
