Description

The hugely popular early chapter book series re-emerges-now in audio! There have always been some pretty weird grownups in Bailey City, but the new custodian at the Bailey School is one of a kind. When he appears out of nowhere just before Christmas to help out at the school, Mr. Jolly's white hair and beard and longing for cold temperatures bring the fabled St. Nick to everyone's mind. A silly series that creates more questions than it answers. It's great for formulating theories as well as predictions. The class dynamics should be very familiar to those of the Magic School Bus generation.

The new janitor at Bailey Elementary, Mr. Jolly, keeps the school magically clean and cold as the North Pole. The kids begin to suspect Mr. Jolly may be Santa Claus.

Debbie Dadey was born on May 18, 1959 in Kentucky. Prior to pursuing a full-time writing career, she was head librarian at an elementary school. She is known for co-authoring the Adventures of the Bailey School Kids series. Her co-author Marcia Thornton Jones was a teacher at the same elementary school when they started writing together. Even though they no longer live near each other they are still collaborating on titles. Marcia Thornton Jones was born in Joliet, Illinois on July 15, 1958. After graduating with high distinction from the University of Kentucky, she became an elementary-school teacher. She received a Master's degree in 1987 from Georgetown College. She is known for co-authoring the Adventures of the Bailey School Kids series.
