This book really impressed me. From the cover, I expected something really different than what I actually got.
Pure is the story of a teenage girl in Great Britain. I loved the way her life slowly changed, and I was completely drawn in by this book. It had a really big effect on me because I sort of identified with the main character. I loved how slowly things progressed, and how you really got to see a lot about her life and what made her grow up. The book and the words used were really shocking, since I didn't expect them, and they really helped drive the story into your brain. I was kind of freaked out by some of the things in there, but in a good way.
I read this one a couple of years ago. It wasn't anything special. I actually can't remember what it was about even after reading the reviews of others. I think it was just a little too chick-lit or ya for me?
I hated this book. I kept reading it because I thought that surely it would get better, but it didn't. It just sucked all the way through.
