Will Stone, a US military special agent captured by Islamist militants and being tortured, finds his mind slipping away from the pain being caused him to a place where he can see and feel a beautiful gypsy girl, Sarafina. He can only watch and try to warn her as she is betrayed by her younger sister and her lover. This is the 8th book in the Wings of Night series. The characters are well rounded and the leads are likeable. The romance and suspense is superb! The characters show up in other books in this series, which makes the books more interesting.
