Part of the My Weird School Daze series, this story continues the weirdness as A.J. suspects that his new teacher is an alien. Dan Gutman has shaped the series toward reluctant readers, boys in particular. As a result, the writing style and humour are choppy and unsophisticated. Still, the book will connect with its intended audience.

School is back. Mr. Granite is the new third grade teacher. But man is he weird! It's almost like he is an alien or something. First of all, he doesn't have any nose hair. None! All grown ups have at least some nose hair. But the big clue is he has an alien space ship! Will he take over the world and turn everyone into zombies? Read this book to find out!
I love this book! It is so funny! You never can tell what is going to happen, it is so surprising! Yet that is what makes is so absolutely hilarious!
