Description
Two women are desperately vying for the same man, but when they discover he's been unfaithful to both of them, one woman hatches a scheme that ends in disaster. Life has dealt Terelle a dismal hand: a rough childhood spent in and out of foster care, an unexpected pregnancy, and an unfaithful man. But she's determined to change all that. Terelle works long hours as a nursing assistant to pay for exorbitant collect phone calls, care packages, and to generally help support Marquise, the incarcerated father of her child. She expects to be compensated with marriage and is devastated when upon his release he refuses to settle down and resumes his philandering ways. Kai regards sex as sport until she meets Marquise. Feeling that she's fallen in love for the first time, wealthy and well-bred Kai expects street-savvy Marquise to leave his family for her.
