Description
We all want to lead a life of our own making. But in today's accelerated world, with its competing priorities, information overload, and confounding options, we can easily find ourselves steered by impulse, stress, or expedience. Now Suzy Welch explains the power of 10-10-10, a transformative idea that can replace chaos with consistency, guilt with joy, and confusion with clarity.Tags

Great examples of how to apply the 10 years, 10 months, 10 minutes approach to decision making. However, I lost interest half-way through the book. It probably worked better as a news article (that's what it originally started out as, although I never read it). The material, after a while, became repetitious.
This easy read is supposed to show you how to transform your life by making more thoughtful, better decisions about problems both large and small. This is done by considering the answers to three questions: If I do, don't do, this: What will be the consequences in 10 minutes? Ten months? Ten years? The answers should lead to insights into the best decision for your particular circumstances. Somehow Welch's explanation of the process and the successes people have had with this technique didn't inspire me. Yes, considering consequencies is a good thing. No, she didn't inspire me to start applying 10-10-10 in any consistent way to my own life. Only recommended for self-help junkies.
Great idea...boring book...more like a printed commercial (a long commercial- worse than those bullet blender commercials) than something worth reading...The first three chapters and the last one are the only ones you really need to read...the rest bypass...
easy read, simple concept...10mins-10months-10 years...values driven...assumes the courage to act on the decision/s made
Interesting concept about thinking through your decisions.
Mas não superou as minhas show more expectativas... :-( show less
