"The goal of 'montage' as an exhibition is to link the work of emerging artists to the historical tradition and to the work of an older generation of monteurs whose contributings to the medium have been under recognized. In assembling the work socio-political critique and psycho-sexual workings of the subconcious emerged as predominant themes.
