I really want to love this book. But I just can't. I can understand what the main female character must have gone through as a young child. But I really couldn't understand her adamancy throughout the book of not wanting to marry the hero just because she vowed to hate him due to his father. Seriously, when you feel something for him to.

I expected a lot from this book with the legend of curse and all but it was just okay read. Do not read this book especially after reading drakon series. Drakon series is just amazing.

A quick and interesting read, but somehow it fell flat for me. I often found myself rooting against Avalon accepting the curse and Marcus.

(Click to show. Warning: May contain spoilers.)As one, the two spirits rose, and if such a thing as heavenly laughter could have been heard, it surely would have been then, as they melted into each other, indistisguishable, and dissolved into sparkles of bliss, joined together forever, just as their love had always promised.
