(This and Nobody Hugs a Cactus). This was a really cute book about the first day of Bashi (from birth to sleep of the first day). Mara especially liked it because its elephants and thats MaMa's favorite animal. Its a cute, quick, fun read that the two of us enjoyed. no reviews | add a review
As the sun rises over the African plain, a mother elephant and her newborn calf, Bashi, follow their herd down to the watering hole. But they are not alone, for the water has drawn some lionesses to the edge to drink and they are looking hungrily at Bashi. John Butler's carefully researched, stunning illustrations bring to life this dramatic story of survival in Africa. ?Another eye-catching presentation from the creators of Shadow the Deer No library descriptions found. |
