lucyknows One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest can be paired with Frank Darabont's film The Shawshank Redemption based on Stephen King's short storyRita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption. Could also be paired with Dead Poet's society as well.

Review for audiobook. 4 stars story ♫ 2 stars narration. I really enjoyed this story. Granted, I've seen the movie so I was comparing it to the movie... and this is one case where I liked the movie better. But, I still give it 4 stars.
The narration wasn't that good for me. I give it 2 stars in just that it was okay. Too bad there can't be a remake with Morgan Freeman narrating.
Superb filming of Stephen King's short story "Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption" with standout performaces by Robbins and Freeman. The ending takes forever to play out but the payoff is huge. Reruns of this on TV have been a money-making bonanza for everyone involved.

A quiet banker goes to prison for murder.

Corny, cliche, and just plain bad storytelling. More than half a million people have ranked it at the IMDb, and almost all of them love it. I swear it must be an enormous conspiracy (and even my wife is in on it - she likes it and is unable or unwilling to say why). I just get nothing out of this movie. What does Stephen King have on you people?

A 90's classic. Lots of fun stuff happens in the prison. One man does what he (reasonably) can to get on in prison and uses his brains to find a way to do so.
