The final book in the Phoenix trilogy. The Hardy Boys bounce from Stockholm, to Copenhagen, to Germany, then finally on to New York. The book was a fun quick read, but I had to roll my eyes at how Frank was able to track Joe all across these countries. The two had split up in Germany, with Joe infiltrating the smuggling ring by pretending to be a foreign refugee looking to flee to America. Somehow Frank was able to keep up with him, despite the many obstacles (and henchmen) thrown his way. ( )
