Keena Ford and the Field Trip Mix-Up

Second-grader Keena loves to write in her journal—about her family, her run in the student council election, and most exciting of all, her class trip to the Capitol in Washington D.C.! Unfortunately, Keena’s jealousy of one of her classmates gets in the way, and she makes a big mistake during the field trip. Keena’s antics are kid-relatable, but sometimes her predicaments come across as formulaic.
