Collection of academic articles and lectures by Reinhart Koselleck, one of the most important history theorists of the 2nd half of the 20th century. Most of these articles are not available in English *, and considering my German falls short on this theoretical level, I read them in French. They show once again the thoroughness with which Koselleck reflected about looking at the past. I especially read the first, most important article, which is the translation of his groundbreaking contribution on the concept of "History" in the series he co-founded on 'Begriffsgeschichte', the history of concepts. In that article he touches upon his theory that roughly between 1750 and 1850 the 'modern' temporality (dividing the present from the past, show more and orienting everything towards the future) came about.
