This book is about hospitals and what happens within one. This teaches kids on how cope with loved ones that have to go to a hospital.
As with all his books, Fred Rogers has great pictures with simple reading and directness. The children can see what a hospital looks like and talk about why someone might be in the hospital. Pictures of doctors, nurses, equipment,.etc.

"going to the hospital isn't a punishment" egads did anyone think so? badly outdated. scary x-ray table. I didn't like this one. It was a little to high-handed and lacked sympathy.
In typical Mr. Rogers style, explains what children can expect when they visit the hospital for themselves. Explains the rooms, tools, people, and machinery. Suggests what to bring and how to make the stay more pleasant. Many color photographs scattered throughout the text.
This book is all about hospitals and the way children and parents feel when their child has to go the hospital. Going to the hospital is never a fun thing this book can help children feel better about hospitals.
A book for 3 to 5 year olds about going to the hospital. Going to the hospital can be a scary thing for children and their parents. This books explains why it's important and ways to help cope with going to the hospital.
This is a great, factual book for young children that might help lessen their fears for going to the hospital. Some pictures are outdated, but a lot of the information is the same.
