The Beast of Blackslope

Xena and Xander are back to slove another of Sherlock's unsolved mysteries. This time, they are vacationing in the small town of Blackslope where the beast of Sherlock's time seems to be making a repeat appearance. The town hears spooky howls in the night, sheep are missing, fences knocked over and the town is afraid for their lives and livelihood.

I really like this series, though the mystery didn't necessarily get "solved" in the same way it did in the first book which was pretty disappointing.

Xena and Xander Holmes, an American brother and sister spending a year in England, use clues in their ancestor Sherlock Holmes' casebook as they try to solve the mystery of a monster threatening a peaceful country village where a documentary film is being made.
