I really respect Burton for extending the well-mapped fantasies of Halloween and Christmas. This wee tome tells Jack Skellington's story of misguided usurpation and redemption. The text is for children and includes movie stills.

A fun, entertaining look at holidays and the creatures that embody them.

One of the favorite children's movies in our house. It is both whimsical and slightly spooky, and equally good to watch, I think, at both Halloween and Christmas. I especially like the claymation that is used, rather than traditional animation. My DVD includes bonus features like Frankenweenie and Vincent, which are also fun to watch.
