An interesting book: part humor, part for selling Morrow's books. I found some of the descriptions of zodiac signs amusing; they didn't like Pisces much. I also chuckled when the volume predicted a prosperous 1929.
If you are interested in literary culture in 1928, a good work to look at.
In a section, Advice on the Stock Market, for March,1929, is this sage advice: "Playing stocks that are very volatile is like playing Seven-Card-Pete: you get quick action for your money; but in one session you may lose your shirt."
What were the predictions for the Stock Market for 1929. In a two page article for October, 1929, Harold T. Johnson, once a newspaper man and now a broker, wrote, "I expect it will fluctuate."
