Close your eyes and imagine yourself shipwrecked in feudal japan. Trying to survive after the murder of your friends and father in completly new world. Trianning to become a samurai to stop ninja bent on killing and stealing your only means of getting home. This is Jack's world. Chris Bradford's Young Samurai Way of the Sword amazed me with it's interesting tale of a boy surviving in a new and dangerous world.
After surviving his first year shipwrecked in japan, hunted by ninja, and discriminated by the japanese, Jack begins his second year at his new samurai school. apart from the constant bullying and teasing by a fellow student Kazuki, the theart of the dragon eye ninja hunting him down for the last thing his father gave him which is show more his only ticket home. Jack hears of a powerful technique that his adopted father Masamoto developed called the" two swords" and sees it as a way to finally be on par with his worst enemy, but the only way to learn it is to get into and pass the Circle of Three, an ancient ritual that tests courage, skill and spirit to the limit. Jack will learn who his friends truly are and who are his enemys.
