Of course J. A. Roger is one of my favorate authors of global history, so this one did not disappoint. It was originally published as a series of articles and as a book in 1923.

Here are some things that you may have not known about U. S. history...according to the author

thousands of negro klansmen were used as spies on other negroes and northern whites

the kkk proper was began in 1865, by six young men, solely for fun and frolic and was modeled after college fraternity, to play upon the supertitions of the local townfolk

once general forrest and jeff davis was chosen as the heads along with the membership mainly of ex confederate soldiers it became a violent terroristic secret organization whose aim it was to take over the army, navy, show more us treasury, re-establish slavery in the north, black slavery first, then white slavery.

presidents woodrow wilson and andrew johnson were pro ku klux, and the southern confederates were Loosers, vendictive, bitter, and bad sports, who used the law, known as black codes etc to win the war that was lost.

after the north sacked the south, and unemployment was at an all time high, northerners came in to pounce on the south economically using tricks of exploitation.

the north and the republicans only interfered with the south because it was bad for big business.

A small book worth its weight......
