Better than expected. In The Floating Minyan Emes Junior Interpol's search and find adventure manages to work in a tad of information on Judaism, Israel's history, and Mitzvot (good deeds) without being a distraction from the action.

I especially enjoyed how each of the "good guys" care about others and act maturely and responsibly especially when difficulties arise.

But it could use more character development.

And even knowing this is a children's/young adult book I wouldn't have minded a longer book because I enjoyed reading it.
