The romance that makes you squirm at the characters and scream at their blind spots for love makes me smile when I read it in a book. Much in the way that I enjoy the comedy and romance of Mary Connealy, I really enjoyed this story from Lori Copeland. I have read some of her other new books such as those from Avon Inspire and enjoy them. Yet this series from Harvest House is even better.

A Kiss for Cade is the second book in The Western Sky Series, but the first one for me, and now I'll have to go find a copy of [b:Outlaw's Bride|6397091|Outlaw's Bride|Lori Copeland|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1255812554s/6397091.jpg|6585765] because I enjoyed this one so much. Cade is not sure what his future will be, but with the death of his show more sister and forced return to the people of his past things are even more confusing. This is a story that brings out the pain and pressure of Zoe's early years, but realizes after fighting it that God is in control and will make things work out in his own time.

The thrill of a bounty hunter's life with a show down on the streets with the madness of the town taking over one's romantic future is an amusing tale that will entertain you and cause inward sighs. Lori Copeland did well in this novel. It is a great one to enjoy around the romance of Valentine's Day or anytime. Snuggled in your favorite reading spot, you'll be swept away into a western romance that will keep you feeling the love long after you turned the last page.

This is book two in The Western Sky Series and I liked it even more than book one, The Outlaw's Bride. This book can be read as a stand alone as it really didn't tie into book one at all.

Cade Kolby is a famous bounty hunter who has come back to a a town he left 15 years ago. His sister and her husband have died and Cade must go home to see to his nieces and nephews and find a home for them. Zoe Bradshaw has seen her best friend die and has now taken on the care of the four children. She assumes Cade will let her continue to care for them, but Cade has other plans. To make it more interesting Zoe loved Cade 15 years ago and has never really gotten over him. But she is a red-head and does have a temper and is a little angry at the man show more right now. The townsfolks step in and try to get these children both a mon and a dad, if they can just get Zoe and Cade to "talk it out".

This was an enjoyable western romantic story, filled with "sparring" between Zoe and Cade. I enjoyed Cade's teasing attitude, and Zoe held her own in the battle of the wills. It was just an all around delightful story that kept me very entertained.

Lori did it again! I have fallen in love with another of her books. A Kiss for Cade is book 2 in Lori's The Western Sky Series, and she did not disappoint with this one. It's full of love, laughter, tears and God, making it sure to be on a the best selling list!

I truly loved all the characters in this book, however, my favorite character is Cade. He just goes through so much struggling in this book that I felt myself often praying for him, and for God to reach out to him and touch is heart. When reading this, you wouldn't think that it was first published as a main stream book, the way Lori touches your heart with the workings of God throughout this whole story. But it was. I am truly glad that Lori had this republished for the show more Christian line. This story is an emotional one(I am not going to give a way spoilers so I'll stop there!). I would dub this book as a redeeming, historical love story. It's filled with so much forgiveness and heartache among the love, as I mentioned. It's one that will make you laugh, cry and everything in between. It is a fast and easy read. Like book 1, Outlaw's Bride, this is a book that you will find permenantly on my book shelf.

I give A Kiss for Cade five stars, two thumbs and highest recommendations to EVERYONE! You will not be sorry that you read this! So grab a copy and a cup of coffee and enjoy a trip back in time to meet new friends!
