This book taught you all about wind and how it helps us. It talks about windmills, flying kites and weather caused or fixed by wind. It has the characters who are Ms.Frizzle, Wanda, Dorothy, Arnold, Ralph, Keesha, Phoebe, Carlos and Tim. Dorthy throughout the book writes story about wind on their adventure. They talk about how you can't see wind but you can hear and feel the wind. The wind can drive storms in and drive them out. The windmills use the wind to help us create energy. If you have the right windy can fly kites as well.

In my opinion this book is very informational. It taught me how you can measure wind, and how a windmill works. This book is a very good book especially if you are interested in science related books. My show more favorite part is when they went on the whole adventure because Wanda's kite flew away. I also liked when they taught me about weather balloons. They can go 20 miles high and have special ways to tell us how the weather is doing and how it is like high up in the sky. Overall this book is a good book and it would help explain most things you don't understand about wind. show less
This is an information book for early readers. Like all of the magic school bus books the class takes the reader on an adventure with the school bus. In this story the bus turns into a paraglider and we learn about wind. This books is very informative and has addtional information bubbles throughout the page. My 4.5 year old daughter really enjoyed this book. The illustration are fun and create a connection to the reader because it is a classroom setting with young kids.
A nice book to combine reading with science - or wind to be more precise. Kids who like the Magic School Bus series will enjoy this one.
