Haven't read a good fantasy book for quite sometime now. Just in search of something different I came across this book which fascinated me in a number of ways.
1) The style: The story has a very good pace, it never got me bored or lose interest. Written in a scenic, play-like style(something that I was looking for in a novel) things getting to the point straight, no boring turns.
2)The story: A synopsis that suggests it's a common fantasy, but in reality, a lot more interesting and nicely told. I became a fan of one of the characters myself!
3)A unique epilogue in the end, that throws light on the views of the characters in the end of the story, actual art pieces that describe some scenes of 'Elysium' at the book's website.
So the author show more has done a good job in creating a sense of reality and believingness to the story. The story is well-knit,composed straight to the point, the way I like it. show less
