A short story set in the same setting as The First Law trilogy.
A crew of a half-dozen well-done varied characters is on a job to get a thing("you'll know when you'll see it") from some village of savages.
More of the same if you've read Joe's other works, which is both good if you like Joe's work, and bad because there is nothing new. You could substitute this crew for Logens and roll it back fifteen years, and written the same plot.
