Ah the good old days when we had faith that most animals in most circuses were well-cared for, and so we could be fans of circuses. This book is more about the peddler and the circus people, but it still has enough circus animal content to disturb sensitive readers.
What I really liked best is the art. Too bad the gutter of one spread, at least in the newer library-bound jacketless hardcover, breaks a particularly lovely acrobat. This isn't quite as funny as the necessary original classic, but it's still worth reading if your library has it and you're interested.

Great book, and illustrations. It's super cute and a great sequel. This is really great for teaching estimation and financial literacy in math classes. It is for the younger kids, however it brings a fun way to get them thinking about money and estimation.
I like this book. The illustrations are a bit corky for me but its still a fun read for children!

40 months - The original was a huge huge hit when O was much younger. She's sign the colors of the caps and would say Tisk Tisk Tisk! This sequel is almost as good, I was happily surprised.
