So the book starts off with a nice zany vignette of Harry Osborn and Peter Parker in Central Park, with Harry running a nicely comical pick-up riff of two charming ladies to Peter's befuddled straight man. Then things turn serious when Spider-Man enlists some help (Wolverine, Sue Storm et alia) to get the goods on Norman Osborn, now the nation's top security guru and leader of the new Avengers team. At Jonah Jameson's Gracie mansion dinner party (he is mayor now, remember), for Aunt May and Jay Jameson's coming nuptials, Norman Osborn makes an offer of employment to Harry, who first declines with enthusiasm, then changes his mind when he learns that his girl Lily is pregnant. Later he learns that Norman is the actual father, that Lily show more was willing bait, and he saved Spider-Man from death at Norman's hands. The book concludes with a revealing flashback at the kind of father Norman was to young Harry. show less

The story is ok - Norman Osborne is in charge of the Avengers and is plotting to set up and destroy his son Harry. Meanwhile Peter infiltrates the new Avengers, taking the place of Venom, in order to resce Harry. Outside of Spiderman world, Aunt May is planning her wedding to JJ's show more father.
Wasnt a fan of the drawings in this, I found them a little "Naive" and childish, and there's one page in particular where there are two identical panels used to move the story along which is poor.
