The author's object when he wrote this book was to provide a practical textbook that would make it feasible to introduce a course in aeronautics into any high school. From the United States Armed forces Institute, this is War Department Education Manual EM 910. The topics covered are Learning to Fly, Aerodynamics, Avigation, Meteorology, Aids and Safeguards.
