The Bhopal tragedy struck India on 2nd/3rd December 1984, when toxic gasses leaked from a chemical plant, killing 7000 people in days and a further 15,000 since. Around 100,000 others still suffere from chronic and ebilitating disease. Two decades later the site has still not been cleaned and no adequate compensation has been given. This book addresses fundamental questions about corporate and government responsibility for industrial accidents
