Let's admit up front that this is not a golf book for everyone. If you're of the David Leadbetter mechanics school, this is not the book for you.
I'm not going to pretend it turned me from a high handicapper to a scratch player. However, I've found the book's emphasis on mental approach over mechanics is both instructive and productive.
Cut down to its basics, the message is "trust your swing". This may sound simple, but any golfer who isn't already a top touring pro will tell you that it emphatically is *not*. 'Quantum Golf' offers a number of useful mental exercises for recognizing when you're playing at your peak, and how to duplicate that feeling for every club in the bag rather than just your favorite.
It's a strange and easy read, show more peppered with non-standard tips that are at least worth a try. 'Quantum Golf' is a unique addition to the canon of golf instruction. show less
