Te regalaban un libro al azar y, la verdad, este no me llama la atención, pero como me comprometí a leerlo y escribir algo, allá vamos]Empezó no gustándome nada, pero al final estoy contento de haberlo leído. En conjunto es un buen libro, aunque para ser una novela coral el único personaje bien descrito es la narradora. La publicidad dice que es muy divertido, pero no es cierto, no es nada divertido. En realidad es bastante triste. Recomendable, pero hay que hacer un esfuerzo casi titánico para superar la primera parte.

I found the book to be quite fun, and the fact that you can read both the writer's text and the editor's (who is also a character) corrections, adds to it.

The characters were well differentiated and rang true to me. At some points I wanted to slap the narrator which, of course, was the intended effect, so no problem there.

A good book to recommend if you want something light and fun but also well written.

A sort of Virginia Wolf meets chick lit (thanks to Litt's remarkable ventriloquism) meets Big Brother. It proved to be amusing, but pretty soon the joke wore thin and I must confess that I packed it in well before the end, more than anything because the narrative voice got right up my nose.
