Description

These 32 projects from Esther K. Smith show couples how to create one-of-a-kind paper goods that will add an exclusive touch to their special day. Rather than spend thousands of pounds on custom invitations, seating cards, menus, programs, favours and albums, this book gives readers the freedom to create their own, which will keep long after the flowers have wilted.

I would never be sufficiently organized to actually put this book to use, at least not for a wedding, but it is just so much fun to read. Every page is illustrated with delightfully creative ways to propose, invite, announce and thank - easily adaptable to other milestone events or parties of almost any kind. Each section includes detailed instructions on how to complete at least one project; I found a couple of these a little difficult to follow but my puzzlement would probably be solved in the actual "doing." For anyone with an event to plan and more time than money and everyone who loves paper and design. (I would personally love to go straight to the author's letterpress and graphic design firm, Purgatory Pie Press.)
