This is the first book I have read by this author. I didn't connect with the characters.. didn't really feel any attraction between them and found myself thinking - how could you know each other "that" well! You have only seen each other twice. However, the plot was decent and I will try out another book from her before making up my mind about this author.
I just couldn't get into this one. The characters' motivations weren't terribly convincing, so by the time they finally solved their so-called issues I was just grateful that it would be over soon. I had slightly more sympathy for Coop than for Lexi, but that's really not saying much.
The narrator was supremely annoying--most of her male voices were just horrendous, (as were the ones she used for Grandma Charlotte and her best friend Sylvia) and she often had the tone all wrong for the emotion she was supposed to be portraying. It was very off-putting.

Kiss Me If You Can is a perfect summer read, great for those lazy beach days. It’s the first in a series featuring eligible bachelors and all their drama as The Bachelor Blogs, a feature of a NYC newspaper’s online blog, follows them and posts about their every possible romantic move.
Sam Cooper aka “Coop” is a failed cop turned beat reporter but he’s become the hottest bachelor in town thanks to an antique jewelry store robbery he helps thwart. Rewarded with a ring from the store, The Bachelor Blogs takes his story and runs with it. Coop is bombarded with crazy propositions from women and hesitant when Lexie Davis walks up to him asking to chat, even if he does think she’s hot. Lexie is NOT a girl desperate for a date. She show more just wants to know more about that old ring, because it looks like an exact match for her grandmother’s beloved necklace. When she and Coop start discussing the ring, a past crazier than either of them ever could have imagined emerges!
