It's Halloween night and little Hannah is going trick-or-treating without her parents for the first time. She's been foisted off onto her older cousin Jimmy and his friends, who trick Hanna into entering the local haunted house. While the older kids think Hannah is terrified inside, she's actually partying with her Scary Godmother, a vampire family, a skeleton and the monster-under-the-bed.
Such a cute story, with excellent illustrations, also by the author. And I like the t.v. cartoon too.
Really sweet story about not being afraid of the thngs that occasionally do go bump in the night. Brilliant art makes this a must in all collections.

The characters are beautifully designed to communicate their emotions, and this story runs the gamut as Hannah learns to appreciate the fun side of being scared.
