The illustrations of The Raven are terrible. Unpleasant to see. Which is odd because the cover artwork for the same story is awesome! “Never Bet the Devil Your Head” is also awfully illustrated. Blech. And the text font for that story is virtually unreadable! It was super frustrating.

Of course, the stories are all top notch, the legible stories! It's Poe from crimeny's sake! But when the artwork is bad, it's super distracting and takes away from the genius of the author! Good to read at Halloween, if you can get through the muddle and mess.
