A beautiful story with lush, incredible illustrations. A soft tale of a little red haired toddler and her mother who share love each and every night when Mama Comes Home. "When Mama comes home from work, dear child, when Mama Comes home tonight, she'll cover you with kisses, she'll hug you sweet and tight." And as the story opens with this phrasing, it continues to tell what mama and the little child will do. They will eat together, sip a bit of tea, dance in the hall, pick up brightly colored blocks, wish on stars, and then find the teddy bear to accompany the child to bed.
This tale leaves with a lovely feeling of comfort.

This book was well done. Definitely more appropriate for a younger audience, but still the writing quality is there.
A good story about a child thinking about all the things his mom does with him after she comes home from work till he goes to bed.
This book tells about a mother who comes home from work and how she spends time with her child. It talks about all of the things they do before gettting the child ready for bed. This is one of my doughter's favorite books. I think it is a great good night story.
