Winter is Not Forever

Josh is graduating and has no idea what God wants him to do with his life. His Grandpa and great Uncle need him on the farm and he loves farming so opts for that while waiting for a calling. His best friend is going to missionary training and he determines to support his work. When the issue of his strained relationship with his girl leads him to decide what his calling is he seems to have found his spot. This is probably my least favorite of the series so far. Lots of introspection and half resolved issues; sort of a place holder.

This is part of Janette Oke's "Seasons of the Heart" series, following young Josh as he grows up from a 12 year-old to a grown man supporting a family. Delightful story, full of faith and overcoming real-life struggles.

This was a really great book! Janette Oke always has interesting stories and beloved characters.
Josh is ready to graduate and has no idea what God's plan is for him. As he helps his Grandpa and Uncle with the farm, he put his strengths to use.

With schooling behind him, Josh wonders what else life holds. Should he continue his studies and become a pastor? Is he tohelp his aging grandpa and uncle on the farm? With his friends moving on, Josh feels like his life has drifted to a standstill......the future is not what Josh had thought.....
