Hannah's world has turned upside down when she finds herself falling for the new boy Paul who everybody hates. This matter gets even worst when her older brother Kit and her best friend Joey fall for each other at school and causes a lot of problems.Hannah wants to help and save Paul when she finds out about Paul's past. She tries to make him feel better but deep inside she somehow gets a feeling that he doesn't want her sympathy or want to be saved and this turns into a concern and a problem when she finds out that she was right. This is a really good book as it gives you good advice about things that could actually happen in real life.
In Kirklaggan, Joey and Kit fall for each other at school and it causes all sorts of problems. Then Paul turns up and Hannah's world turns upside down because she falls for the new guy everyone else hates. They find out about Paul's past life, try to make him feel better and try to save him. But the problem is he doesn't want to be saved.
This is a fantastic book that addresses a lot of teen issues, such as: love, friendship, school and depression. It also gives good advice. I strongly recommend it for any girls who like things that could actually happen, to read it.
