Another must-read from Jaci Burton. HOT! Here's my review from TwoLips Reviews (www.TwoLipsReviews.com):Fans of this series have been anxiously awaiting this installment, and while it’s bittersweet because it’s the last book in the series, it’s a reunion story so it’s extra delicious. Ten years ago AJ was dating Teresa but he broke it off because he knew his life was off track and he loved her too much to drag her down with him. He was a troubled kid with a rotten stepfather and a mother who didn’t stick up for him. He stole cars for a chop shop. He didn't want that life for her, so he broke her heart and left her. Now AJ and his best friend Pax are passing through the area of his hometown and he decides he wants to stop and show more see some old friends, including Joey, Teresa's twin brother. He assumes Teresa has married and forgotten about him by now. Still single, Teresa owns a biker bar and Joey's the leader of a gang called the Thorns. While AJ and Pax are hanging out at the bar, a rival gang comes in and starts trouble. It quickly gets out of control and the leader of the rival gang gets fatally stabbed. Teresa saw who did it, but the police don’t believe her because her brother is the prime suspect. Now she has to find the real killer.AJ and Pax decide to stick around to help and protect her. AJ and Pax come from similarly dysfunctional backgrounds and they’ve always got each other’s backs. They like to share women, partly for the sheer pleasure of it, but also because neither wants a serious relationship. Threesomes keep it casual – usually. But they’re not feeling casual about Teresa. Both are drawn to her, but they don't want to push her into anything she's not ready for. She is dealing with some serious sexual issues from a violent incident in her past, but these two men make her want to feel again and enjoy sex again. There are so many things I loved about Riding The Night that I hardly know where to start. I enjoyed getting to know AJ and Pax in greater detail after “meeting” them in previous books in the series. They’re intense, caring and just plain yummy. I like how respectful and caring Pax is. He respects Teresa’s feelings and AJ’s past relationship with her, and he’s willing to ignore his attraction to her for the sake of his friendship with AJ. I like the lack of jealousy between the two men. I really like the chemistry between Teresa, AJ and Pax – it’s absolutely scorching and it gave me happy tingles. All of them are intelligent and likeable, which is important to me as a reader. I also appreciate the fact that while this is clearly an erotic romance, it still has a perfect balance of action and heart-pounding sex.It seriously doesn't get any better than this. Riding The Night is a wild carnal ride that revs your engine and makes you feel hot all over. If you like erotic romance and drool-worthy heroes, I dare you not to love this book. Anything Jaci Burton writes is a guaranteed must-read.Recommended Read, 5 Kisses, 2 Peppers (m/f/m straight menage, double penetration, anal sex) show less
Sexy and steamy as all get out! Pax and AJ were one of the hottest pairs I've had the pleasure of reading about and I think I've been spoiled from here on out to all the other M/M/F stories out there. Teresa was a pretty strong female character who knew what she wanted and went to get it. Wasn't a five star read for me because I thought the groveling in the end was unnecessary and a little bit too cheesy for my taste.
Jaci Burton can sure write some books!
