Description

Beginning iPad Application Development will help jumpstart your iPad development. It covers topics progressively so you learn without being overwhelmed by details. It adopts the philosophy that the best way to learn is by doing, hence the numerous Try It Out sections, which first show you how to build something and then explain how things work. I really like the tutorials in this book, but I ran into a problem with the later tutorials because I'm using the new version of xcode and this was an earlier version. The code either didn't work or I didn't know how to fix it. Good for n00bs such as myself who want to get a feel for writing an app. However I need to find a more up-to-date book for Xcode 4.
